This exciting technique combines beadstringing, wirework, and crochet. Many of these pieces are inspired by my love for chunky, multistrand vintage costume jewelry, and the crocheted wire allows for a similar look with a much lighter weight.

I've been experimenting lately with adding french beaded flower techniques to my crocheted wire jewelry. The spray of pale yellow flower blossoms is complemented by frosted glass flowers and leaves and faceted Czech crystal.		Fuschia beaded flowers on green wire with sage pearls and peridot Czech crystal.
Copper lined glass leaves, serpentine jade, and cranberry colored pearls on copper wire.	Emerald green Czech crystal sparkles on green colored wire.	Iridescent glass leaves, pearls, and Czech crystal on copper.
Frosted glass beads in shades of purple with glass flowers.		Teal blue mother of pearl discs combine beautifully with darker teal pearls, peridot green czech crystals, and green crocheted wire in these bold but lightweight 2&1/4" dangle earrings.
A carved jade deity pendant on gold colored wire crocheted with olive jade, garnet, and carnelian.
