This is a showcase of some of the pieces I've been working on lately. Over the winter I became fascinated with the warm glow of copper wire combined with pearls and sparkling glass, and found myself crocheting necklaces instead of my ususal hats and scarves.The abundance of new growth in the spring and summer inspired more delicate creations with intricately beaded leaves, fruit, and flowers.

"Gaia" Earthy reddish brown button pearls and sparkling copper colored cut glass beads are strung on several intertwining strands of crocheted copper wire, finished with a handmade hammered copper clasp. This necklace is 17" and holds a circular shape, lying just above the collarbone. $60	"Selkie" Multicolored glass orbs encircle one another on 18" loosely twined crocheted copper strands, dotted with luminous red glass beads and finished with a hanmade copper clasp. $75 "	"Rosaline" Rose colored pearls, frosted topaz glass, and copper lined crystal are strung on fine gague crocheted copper wire, with a carved rhodonite with quartz pendant.The strands of the necklace hang at 18" and the carved rose pendant adds another 2" $65	"Klimt" I had finished this necklace and was thinking of a name when I noticed its resemblance to one of my favorite art nouveau paintings, Gustav Klimt's Hygieia.The art glass pendant has shades of copper and ruby red, suspended from 19" strands of crocheted copper wire with ruby red glass and crystal beads. $45
"Catherine Anne" Yellow turquoise, Russian serpentine, and olive jade 18" necklace. The yellow turquoise pendant and oval beads have beautiful markings in shades of green, black, and chartreuse. $50	"Eva" Sparkling columns of faceted olive green Czech crystal dangle from 2 rows of smaller diamond shaped crystals in the adjustable 14"-17 1/2" choker, with matching 2 1/4" drop earrings. $75	"Wings" I adapted this butterfly from a Chinese needlepoint pattern to form the centerpiece for this 19" necklace.The deep green strands are a striking background for the lines of pale aqua blue tinged with gold. $85	"Lemondrop" Lemon yellow flowers dangle from shimmering green vines and leaves in this delicate glass beaded neckpiece with adjustable legnth chain closure and 2&1/2" dangle earrings. $72
"Ruby" A spray of ruby red flowers is suspended from three 19" strands of pale green glass beads accented with peridot colored czech crystal, with matching 2&1/2" earrings $65	"Blue Leaves" Three strands of blue beads are accented with iridescent cut glass beads, and gathered at the center with a cascade of leafing branches tipped with plum colored pearls. The necklace is 22" long, finished with a silver plated toggle clasp, with matching 2&1/2" earrings. $55	"Pistachio" Three strands of lustrous pistachio colored pearls and sparkling peridot green Czech crystal on crocheted copper wire make a lively splash of color in this 21" necklace with matching 2" earrings. $35	"Woodland" Rose pink teardrops dangle like berries from a cluster of leafing branches, suspended from three strands of iridescent brown dotted with olive green Czech crystal in this stunning earth toned 22" necklace with matching 3&1/2" earrings. $50
